I made the very bad mistake of taking a benadryl today. I only took one mind you, the bottle said I could take two. Within about an hour I was about to pass out. It took me another hour to make the connection to the benadryl. I rarely take them, normally I go for clariton or something more powerful. Note to self, take benadryl if I need to get to sleep early.

This weather is insane. The past few days I could have gotten away with shorts it’s been so warm. Tomorrow they are saying we could hit 70 and possibly best the record. Insane! Normally going away for our January vacation is so nice because we escape the cold harsh winter and go to where it’s sunny and warm. Heck that is here!

The other night we watched “Snakes on a Plane” Oh My God! Now I hate snakes with a passion, but this movie was just so much fun. It’s very campy and doesn’t take itself serious at all, which is what makes it so good. The premise is pretty simple, there are snakes on the mother ef’in plane! Actually Samuel Jackson is transporting a witness to LA. The guy he’s testifying against decides to make sure he never arrives by booby trapping the plane with every poisonous and deadly snake you can think of. Ridiculous yes, but it made a great movie.

It’s not one to watch with the kids around. There is lots of foul language and lots of boobies and adult situation. It’s pretty gory too. The snakes, for the most part, are pretty fake looking (ie digital). Half of the laughing is done at the snakes. The cast in the movie was great though. Two thumbs up! I recommend this one if you want to both laugh and get some good scares.
