We decided not to do dinner and instead hit the movies last night. Unfortunately there wasn’t much out we wanted to see. The one movie on it’s last leg that we were interested in was “The Prestige” so we saw it. It was NOT what I was expecting. The movie is about a rivalry between two magicians, played by Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. One has a fabulous trick, the other sets out to steal it. The commercials make it out that one magician really is magic, which is a bit misleading. There are a few good twists, some obvious some not so, I won’t give them away. What I didn’t expect was how dark the film was going to be, very dark.
We got out of the movie around 10:30pm to find out it was snowing! It was only a few flurries and light dusting of the cars. The first snow of the season, even if it was a dud. Today it is brutally cold and terribly windy. It’s not pleasant out at all. This is the weather I fear for New Years Eve because some of my friends suggested going out on the town. Not in this weather, I’ll stay home and have people over if need be!

We got the same dusting of snow here. The white powdering on the gold and brown ground reminds me of toasted almond. But that’s the only thing toasty today. It was a whopping 11 degrees when I left my house this morning!
haha well London, Ontario got about 70cm’s of snow( i have no idea how many inches that is…)..and the schools got ourselves a snow day….Im very happy and spent the morning playing in the snow
