So I made yet another crock pot recipe today, a chicken casserole dish. This one was salty too! Actually the Mac’N’Cheese tasted much better on day two. The chicken isn’t bad, you just have to make sure you don’t get much of the sauce. I really should have known better, it called for Cream of Mushroom soup and I hate mushrooms. Oh well! I think I’m done making things from the sample crock pot recipe book. I’ll search for my own recipes online or just be inventive and creative, sticking to chicken with tomato sauces, salsas and barbecue.

By the end of this month I expect to feel like a kid wearing one of the above masks. For all two who don’t know, these are the Silver Shamrock © masks from “Halloween III.” When worn while watching the Silver Shamrock © commercial the kids’ heads would implode and bugs would come out of it. I’m sure there is a youtube video out there of the song that my brother and I used to enjoy singing every Halloween. In fact there is!

One month from this week is when I’ll be in Massachusetts for my conference. To complicate matters I invited my friend Keith up for a weekend later in the month. I probably won’t get much done while he’s here, who knows. I can probably give him my PSP for a few hours to get some work done 🙂 I do want to see him though, so I’ll just have to work extra hard that week. I also have to motivate to clean up the guest bedroom that is currently a wreck so he can stay there. Then for Halloween Emily and I are hoping to hit the clubs, but that is just one night. Anyways, by time this month is over my head might have imploded.

The sad thing is I actually KNOW the results I’m going to present at the conference, I just need to get the statistical graphs done and write out all the facts and back them up. That is what is going to take time.

  1. If you like mexican, throw a package of boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot with a jar of medium or hot salsa and let cook all day. Shred the chicken and serve with hard or soft taco shells and your favorite taco fixings. Just don’t use mild salsa, the juice from the chicken really makes it bland.
