Writing the soap updates and then during the commercials writing my dissertation! I just hope I don’t accidentally mix the two up. My advisor probably has no interest in Steve and Kayla.

Hay Dustin, have you ever noticed the background noise when Days cast are “outside”. I don’t know why it stands out so much to me, it is exactly what is done on sets, you film back ground ambiance (?) and then play it as a natural fill behind the scene to give more realisim. However there is a car with a squeeky timing belt that “drives by” every 3 min or so (as they re-loop the track) I always find it funny, and wonder if the parking is so bad in Salem that this poor guy with a crummy car has to keep circling the block looking for a space!
I don’t really listen that carefully lol. I’m usually typing as they are talking 🙂
