In past blogs I’ve participated in Five on Friday and Photo Friday, but I haven’t kept up with them lately. The topics became a little blah for my liking. I still check every Friday though for something I can actually do. This is a new weekly Meme I found, Thursday Thirteens. Basically you list thirteen things about whatever you want 🙂 I can do this!

Thirteen Things That I Did This Week (Thursday-Thursday)
1. I agreed to present my dissertation findings at a conference (public speaking, ew!).
2. I got a nasty cat scratch on my foot while trying to keep a cat out of a room it wasn’t supposed to be in.
3. I got a new cell phone (a black razor, I love it!)
4. I went to the Jersey Shore for the first time ever.
5. I tried blueberry flavored vodka (who thought this was a good idea?).
6. I cheated (a little) on my diet, but still lost weight.
7. I took a number of silly email surveys my friends kept emailing me.
8. I talked with a friend from high school on IM.
9. I had a slice of “the worlds biggest pizza,” it wasn’t so good.
10. I was given stolen merchandise (a menu from Cheesecake Factory)
11. I was amazed by the taste of sugar free, calorie free, fat free, carb free pancake syrup.
12. I played Uno on my Xbox 360 and wondered why I bought this thing to end up playing Uno.
13. I got two days off from writing soap summaries thanks to Wimbledon!

ha! i am a sucker for them email surveys. silly silly but i still do them 🙂 btw, this pancake syrup, what did it taste of? couldn’t have been good!…. 🙁
My TT is up – for once.
The pancake syrup was really good, I was shocked! It basically tasted like Aunt Jemima Light syrup. It’s not as thick as the fully loaded sugary syrup, but it was sweet and very good.
It’s by a company called Walden Farms. They have tons of these products. Their salad dressings are amazing, as are their barbeque sauces. They have reallly good fruit spreads too. Their ketchup, I’m not a fan of.
Hah the Uno thing cracks me up. It reminds me of people playing solitaire on a laptop when they’ve got a deck of cards.
Blueberry vodka? I’d try it! I love blueberry schnapps!
