Percy is slowly getting back to his old self. He hasn’t felt like eating, the the vet said he did eat a little yesterday though. This morning he had a little blood encrusted on his nose. We think he’s clogged up with dried blood in his nose, he breathes through his mouth a lot. We think this may be making him not want to eat either. I’ve been trying to clean it off as gently as possible. Peroxide on a Qtip seems to slowly be dissolving it. It’s probably something that’s just going to have to work it’s way out on it’s own at this point.
He’s been sleeping a lot, which while normal for an adult cat, is unlike him and unusual for a kitten. Like I said, he still doesn’t feel 100%. He does get up and stretch, and he just came out of his little corner where he’s safe from the curious dogs. The dogs have been sitting by the doggie doors pouting all day because the kitty is behind it and not out playing with them. He’s sitting on my lap now watching Princess, who is on the floor basically pouting because some other creature is on me. She’s so jealous.
