Got Nikko back from the groomer . . . . my little boy looks like a Mexican rat dog! They shaped his face but the rest of him is REALLY short. I guess I should have said give him a terrier cut? I don’t know. They always ask with Princess if I want the regular Westie cut when I take her in. Not only does he look like a rat dog, but he is a different color! He went in black with red, brown and grey highlights and came back mostly brown and grey on his body. I guess I have to wait for it to grow back out now.
Nikko is HATING the camera right now, why I don’t know. He hides when he sees it and the only way I can get photos is if he’s asleep or distracted by something else. The little brat! Meanwhile Princess smells clean and nice, but quickly dirtied herself up after her bath by running through the sand outside. She’s a brat too.

Princess looks filthy in these photos lol. Her paws and beard are an off white cause of dirt and stuff staining them, but they don’t look that bad in reality.

No lol, she should be ALL white. however her beard gets stained by food and her paws get stained by dirt and her licking them. They are an off white color, but show up red/brown in these photos. I think it’s cause of the flash and low light.

Yes that’s the cast iron stove in the kitchen. It’s his safe haven, though he’ll probably outgrow it soon. I have fed him under there cause Princess can’t get to his food there, but more recently the brat saves his food and goes for Princesses out in the open! It’s also where he hides when I yell cause he’s done something bad . . . like destroy my heating pad I had on the couch where I was laying on it when I had a headache. He’s so damn destructive!
They are just too cute!! My dog always hides for the first couple of days after he gets groomed, I think he’s embarrassed about his new look!! I love Nikko’s hiding place:)
