This Friday is Saint Patricks Day. When I was in fifth grade, I think, I wrote the following poem.
Green Is For Saint Patrick’s Day

If you do not wear green,
you do not want to be seen.
I have a hunch,
I’m going to get punched,
because I’m not wearing green.
Still to this day I remember writting that silly poem. I was going to do nothing for the day, but my friends J and K invited me to go out with them. I’m not sure what we will do because J suggested we might want to avoid the Irish places. Um, just about every bar in Center City Philly is an Irish Pub 🙂
I mentioned to J and K about my possible trip to Vegas in April. They said they are going at the end of August and I should come with them too. It’s apparently really hot then, so things are super cheap there (hotels, flights, etc).
One of the girls in the Days chat room just went to San Franscisco for business, and another lives close by. I had mentioned I’d never been and it’s supposed to be super fun. My friend L just got back from there. Well that started up a whole “Hey lets all meet in San Franscisco” this summer conversation. So it looks like I’m going to be going to a lot of places this summer, which is nice since I never do anything during the summer anymore.

DO NOT GO TO VEGAS IN AUGUST!!! I HAVE BEEN AND IT IS BRUTAL..YOUR FEET ACTUALLY BURN WHILE WALKING ITS TERRIBLE..110 DEGREES AND BETTER!! APRIL IS THE BEST TIME EVEN MAY IS NICE…. JUST A BIT OF ADVICE..HOPE YOU ENJOY WHENEVER YOU DECIDE..
San Francisco rocks.
Vegas is brutal in August. Be careful if walking the stip. People actually pass out on the sidewalks it is so hot. I went in October and it was 88 degrees…I cannot imagine being there in August…However if that means saving $$$ for San Fran…Go for it!
San Fran is wonderful. I felt like I was on a movie set. The city is so pretty …just like a post card! Enjoy!
A little off topic here,, but,, in the previews for Amazing Race,, they are showing one of those “zip”lines in some tropical location,, reminded me of your picture you posted from your last vacation. Any chance it’s the same one? (not sure if you follow the show or not, sorry if ya don’t have a clue what I am talking about.
I don’t watch AR, but I’ll keep an eye out for the previews. I did it in Costa Rica 🙂
