For those wondering about Princess, it isn’t anything too serious. I have a feeling Princess may have developed grass pollen allergies, which is common in her breed. She itches a lot and has chewed her paws red (not because of blood, but because of a chemical reaction between her fur and saliva. )
Right now she’s on medicated shampoo, a diet of distilled water to get the red out of her fur, and a trial antihistamine to see if it helps with her itching.

I had the same problem with my Bull Terrier Bozley. He itched his little hands and feet till they were red and raw. We had to change his food because what we were giving him was causing his itchiness. We know use Purina sensitive system and since we have done that he is perfectly fine. I think you may want to see if that helps.

I actually switched her dry food a month or two back as she didn’t like the old stuff anymore. She’s on a small breed special/sensative system food now. It’s Royal Canin as opposed to Purina.
I may try giving her just wet food for a few days and see if that helps, then I’ll move to just dry food. I should be able to figure out if it is a food issue.
